You wouldn’t believe how much cutting and sewing there is in the pile of material above.
This quilt has to be one of my biggest projects this year to date.

You’d never think that in our household that the Easter Bunny myth has been exposed!
Look at the bounty of Red Tulip and Cadbury gifted this year.
There is something peaceful about them that draws me in….
So when I saw the Life Is Beautiful pattern book at AQC last weekend I had to buy it.
So many beautiful stitcheries !
More than just a trip to go to AQC…….
From the fire ball show outside Crown Casino to……
to the buildings…..
and out to the beach……
It was a weekend never to forget.
This one didn’t come to Melbourne with me. Another lovely gift from Julie turning my duo into a trio! Thank you Julie xx
April marked a trip to AQC for Julie and I. A flying weekend escape to Melbourne, a first time for me to both the city and the AQC was a first for the two of us. Not only did Julie suggest the trip, book the flights AND accomodation but made me this delightful duo to take along. The backpack was my birthday gift and the cosmetics purse a surprise on the day she arrived. Thank you my very talented friend :)
You are so clever and the backpack is so comfortable to wear!
I made a bag!
The Bird fabric was purchased from Thread & Ginger Victoria Point.
My workmate says it looks like a bought one, so I think that means I did a good job?
Thank you Julie for the Monica Poole pattern “The Spice of Life”. Good friends gift bag patterns!
I was asked to make this bag for an expectant mother and spent today doing exactly that . It will be used as a nappy bag in this case. Yes,this pretty pink & purple bag is for a little girl who is on the way and due in March. I’ve just noticed that I’ve forgotten to make and attach it’s tail!!!
Udderly Adorable Cow Pattern is now for sale, $10
Payment by Direct Debit postage $1 to Aust Residents
Being short on time and with many many projects of my own I hope to make a start on, this request will be the only one I undertake this year – I have to be strong and kind to myself! Does that make me sound selfish?
Patterns $10 each, Plant Some Seeds has been read, I made Nellie’s Sewing Bag. Rosalie’s patterns are so easy to follow and a joy to make.
Beauty of a Flower Pattern $10, I made this bag. Pattern Pieces are pre-cut and ready to place on your fabric to make a very useful pretty bag of your own. (I learnt to trace onto another source after making this one!)
Oriental Bloom Bag Pattern $10. Only ever read the pattern for this beautiful bag….. another on my “I’ll make it one day list” that realistically I am just never going to get to :(
Email me at luv2sewthings@hotmail.com if you would like to purchase one of these patterns. 1st in will be the new owner. Only posting to Australian Residents.
POSTAGE: $1 per pattern – will combine
PAYMENT: By Direct Debit
Thanks for taking the time to view these, I hope you will do more than read these lovely patterns!
Deciding which of my many bag patterns to release to new homes could be a true test indeed. Perhaps I won’t start with Bag Patterns!!! See the dilemma I face already….
no, not this one, I think I’ll keep it, so fun to make….
I made this without a pattern so no hard choice required here!
These two can go, $10 ea for never more than opened and read. I was going to make them one day…….I have to make a start somewhere…..
I’ve had a sort through my room, unfortunately though, I have run out of holidays to spend the time required to get my “Goodies to Go” up online for you all to see.
My plan is to make this happen next weekend, so please stop back in then to see what you might to have living in your stash :)
